billay
It's no shocker that McCants is leaving for the NBA. Quite Frankly, if either Felton or Marvin Williams stays, UNC will be in pretty good shape for next year. I would hate for everybody to leave but May. He'd get triple teamed all year. gilthorp
That would be terrible to watch him get triple teamed all year.
Jumpin Johnies
I can't see Felton or Williams staying. There's too much money on the table.
billay
Barring injury, the money will still be there next year. Marvin is NBA raw material. His value is not going to go down. I still can't picture Felton as being more than a mid-first round pick, at best. He just doesn't have the skill set of an NBA poing guard....yet, IMHO. Historically, UNC point guards aren't NBA material. Felton has improved his shooting remarkably, but it could still use more work, as could his horizontal speed. LegFuJohnson
No reason to stay. Sure there will be money next year, but that's one year of big dollars you can't get back. The quicker you leave, you are one year closer to finishing that rookie contract, and can sign the huge deal. I went to a small school, so I don't know if how their current salary compares with mid-low first round pick status.
