Beaumont
Most relevant part in bold: Vikings | O. Smith Misses Practice - from www.KFFL.com Tue, 17 May 2005 14:34:54 -0700 The Associated Press reports Minnesota Vikings RB Onterrio Smith (personal reasons) missed practice Tuesday, May 17 for personal reasons, according to a team spokesperson. Vikings defensive coordinator Ted Cottrell said Smith was gone for "personal reasons" and would not elaborate. It is not known if his absence was tied to Smith's run-in with police at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on April 21. Smith was carrying several vials of dried urine and a device to circumvent drug tests. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Tuesday, May 17 that using such a device during a drug test would be a violation of league drug policies, but simply possessing any kind of test-altering paraphernalia outside of a testing situation is not a violation. Rovers
This is a sticky one for the NFL. From what I've read (too lazy for the links) the NFL testing procedure hasn't been followed by the test administrators. The player is supposed to take his shirt off, drop his pants to his knees, and urinate right in front of the test administrator. This procedure hasn't been followed, and the chances that he used the Whizzonator are pretty good. So, the NFL may now have a testing monitor for the testing monitor, but there seems little they can do about Mr Whizz at this point.

The selling point is that if they follow that procedure to the letter.....you can beat it (the test.....ya pervs ). Now.....if they'd make you take your underwear off......you lose.
