Rovers
Rich Eisen asked Vilma how Pennington was doing...... Vilma said he was taking reps, but then said "we don't want to say too much." Pennington was supposed to start throwing in June, but I sort of doubt he's ready to throw in 7 on 7's just yet. My best guess is that he is participating in running plays, but I thought it was interesting that the Jets don't want to spill the beans on this. As a Jets homer, I see this as a very positive developement. The practice facility is closed to reporters and the public at this time (I usually attend a few practice sessions each year) so, not much else to report besides this. However, it does seem that Pennington is coming along fine at this point.

BS Miscreant
I hate to cast a dark cloud over all of this but it never makes me feel good when teams display guarded optimism about injury/surgery recovery. I wish him the best though. I like Chad from what I've seen.
