Good god man! 1367262 If this is right. They can buy a Superbowl with what they have now. And just say forget the draft.

Good god man! 1367262 They can just buy the Colts offense and the Steeler defense and win it all in 2007.

Good god man! 1367262 Yet, they didn't even bother to sign a veteran offensive lineman to help Edge.

thecerwin
How in the world can they get 67 Million in cap space? Where's the logic? I need to see this to believe it
Bill Swerski
Its not over yet. But it would be sad if they dont't 1367317 They had a chance to sign Hutchinson, but let that slip by. Bidwell is such a cheap-ass.
Huddled Masses
Yet, they didn't even bother to sign a veteran offensive lineman to help Edge. 1367303 They have signed a free agent offensive lineman. Milford Brown Signs
Pope Flick
This should be taken with a grain of salt: - for one thing, it's for NEXT year. - secondly, whose contracts are up to free up that space? Boldin? Fitz? L Davis? It's not like they'll have the same team next year under contract AND have all that space. Bidwell's cheap, and he could have made runs at Hutch and LeCharles both if there's so much space.
Bill Swerski
They have signed a free agent offensive lineman. Milford Brown Signs 1367360 And, not surprisingly, it's a guy who is a marginal starter and is likely very inexpensive. In other words, not exactly Steve Hutchinson. Jolly Rodgers
This number comes from the players they currently have signed. It does not count rookies or players they have yet to sign. They will have 2 more drafts and 1.5 more free agency periods. They will not be anywhere near 67 when its all said and done. They still have some holes they need to fill. Plus, when do the Cards ever spend anywhere close to the salary cap???? Edited March 14, 2006 by Jolly Rodgers
