John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports the Arizona Cardinals have $67 million in cap space for 2007.  :D  :D  :D  :D

This should be taken with a grain of salt:

 

- for one thing, it's for NEXT year.

 

- secondly, whose contracts are up to free up that space? Boldin? Fitz? L Davis? It's not like they'll have the same team next year under contract AND have all that space.

 

Bidwell's cheap, and he could have made runs at Hutch and LeCharles both if there's so much space.

This number comes from the players they currently have signed. It does not count rookies or players they have yet to sign. They will have 2 more drafts and 1.5 more free agency periods. They will not be anywhere near 67 when its all said and done. They still have some holes they need to fill. Plus, when do the Cards ever spend anywhere close to the salary cap???? :D
