gd74
CBS sportsline is reporting that C. Henry will be deactivated tommorrow because of the incident of being a passenger in the car with the other drunken teammates.... Any Cincy homers hear anything to this ? TheCMB
I think Lewis will not officially deactivate him - but will just bench him instead, with the idea being to teach Henry a lesson and give him 2 weeks on ice (with the bye) to think about his transgressions. And then he'll get significant PT only if they fall behind or get in a shootout with the Pats. Very risky start, IMO.

rocknrobn26
Published Sun Oct 1 11:20:00 a.m. ET 2006(Rotoworld) ESPN's John Clayton reports Chris Henry is questionable for Week 4 with an injured groin. Chris Mortensen says Henry is unlikely to play. Impact: Henry is in danger of being held out because of his involvement with Odell Thurman's DUI, in addition to the hurt groin. Mortensen says it would be a "surprise" if Henry plays. The Bengals have an afternoon game, so if you have a safer early-game option, we recommend using it. The Misfit
All I've heard locally is that Lewis will not announce his decision to deactivate him until 2:15.

MERLINS
This guy could be the Cinncinati version of Moss, if he would get his a$$ in shape. What a waste..................you can take the man off the street but you cant take the street out of the man. I am sure that this de-activation won't change a thing with this bum................ Marvin Lewis needs to be questioned about this team...........For real..........I can remember a coach.............Tice that took alot of trash for his team that went off. I can remember the Cowboys Management taking shots due to their players off field antics..............why is no one questioning Lewis??????? His players don't respect him............Its time for him to step up and make a statement once and for all................. Again, what a waste. The question now is, does Henry have any value for teh remainder of teh season.
Randall
What a waste of talent. If Lewis can teach him accountability perhaps he'll mature. It has happened before even though the odds are probably against it. Giving up $millions is a big loss so maybe Marvin will get through to him. 4 arrests and then hanging out with Odell doesn't show great judgement. He may need a player to take him under his wing. "Paging Chad, please pick up the white courtesy phone."
