skylive5
I noticed that the early odds (@ Yahoo) make NE a 15 point favorite and that the O/U is 51. Nothing on the GB-NYFG game yet. With Rivers, Tomlinson, and Gates all hurting, I would have thought that the odds would have been a bit higher. But then better than a 2 TD favorite in the championship game is about what could be expected I guess.
Randall
Weather in Green Bay looks brutal right now. Last night the predictions were a warm up this weekend but they have backtracked on that.
fballfreak
Weather in Green Bay looks brutal right now. Last night the predictions were a warm up this weekend but they have backtracked on that. I heard 4 degrees at kickoff. That should be interesting the running game will be big.

Bronco Billy
If Volek starts, I'll take SD +15. I also like GB -7.
Randall
As it should be. That's true, but when you go from pain(10-20 degress) to losing body parts due to frostbite(teens and below zero) it becomes more about survival. Last night they said 18 degrees but now it's about 20 degrees colder with the winds. We won't know the truth for awhile. For the last few weeks it's been nice here so it may change. skylive5
hey Sky, here is one link but there are others spreads Thanks.... Notice that they have the AFC as a 13.5 favorite for the SB and they don't even know who is going to be there. LOL
skylive5
Everybody sportsbook has the line at about 7. What do you want me to say? In Puerto Rico? I don't use online betting sites. The only time I know the odds... I see them at Yahoo or they are posted here. So I had no idea where you were getting your info since Yahoo did not have them posted. A link is always nice for us people that aren't allowed to bet online due state laws.

The comment you had about "Where?" seemed like to me that you were surprised by the line a book was giving for the game. No worries!

If the weather is even a tiny bit close to what you are telling us to expect.... it is sounding like an excellent football atmosphere. I would be happy for what we got from the 2nd qtr on this week in GB. Makes for entertaining football.

Bronco Billy
Can you please explain the Volek comment? Just curious. I think Rivers' immaturity is really surfacing, and I also think it really hurts the team. I also don't think SD would have won that game if Rivers didn't get hurt. I don't like QBs who are that emotionally unstable in such important games.

Bronco Billy
NOTHING like Elway in the first half of his career! That would be correct. Thanks for clarifying with an outstanding counterexample to Rivers.
