Randall
And so far no FA signings. Does this mean Deuce is doing well? Pierre Thomas is highly regarded? Or will they go after Shaun Alexander. Saints homers how do you see things down there.
Tford
I view this as a huge vote of confidence for Pierre Thomas. First he (as a UDFA) effectively kicks A Pittman (4th rd pick?) to the curb and then the most recent game memory of him is a 100 yds rush/100 yds rec monster game. Deuce will probably contribute somewhat but I like Thomas' chances to make a difference.
rajncajn
I like Thomas a lot, but I'm still sticking by what I've said before. Thomas & Bush aren't a healthy Deuce & Bush. Bush needs a complimentary back who can soften up the middle in order to keep defenses from keying on him, but PT seems to work better in a traditional role with a FB. It will be very interesting to see if they can get them both on the field on a regular basis, but I'm a bit skeptical.

kpholmes
NFLN mentioned them talking to the Raiders about acquiring Lamont Jordan who can play the big back in Payton's system.
Pope Flick
Aaron Stecker showed he was well past just being 'solid' last year. This no doubt has something to do with it.
piratesownninjas
I've also read that Bush learned a lot from last year and won't be making the same mistakes. He said that he's cut a lot of people out of his life and is focused on being the back that they thought he could be. What are the homers feelings on this? If he shows that he can carry the load while sharing time then he'll get another shot. Regardless he'll still see a lot of touches & fantasy-wise I think he will continue to improve. Do you know off the top of your head what week he was injured?

Do you know off the top of your head what week he was injured? Week 12, then tried to play through it in week 13. I honestly believe Bush can & will be a top 10 fantasy RB, but at this point I think it's very questionable whether he'll ever be able to put up top 5 numbers.
