Chief Dick
Local grocery store had slabs for 1.48/pound, so I was on that like a squirrel on a hambone. Gonna do a mix of hickory/cherry tomorrow with my normal rub. Probably do 2 hours on, 2 hours in foil, and 1 hour off. I'll sauce 'em the last 20 minutes with a spicy sauce with just a hint of honey. The honey makes 'em real sticky and keeps the sauce stuck on the ribs. I go real light on the sauce: just enough to know it's there. Can't wait. SheikYerbuti
Can't wait. Sounds AWE-SOME. Ribs on sale for 1.49 a pound is the reason we bought one of these.

SheikYerbuti
How do you smoke ribs on that contraption? Set it on fire, then hold the ribs above it.
