SEC=UGA
Had a company picnic, so I couldn't catch the game. How'd he look in his first start? He is a sexy hunk of a man, the way those tight pants accentuate his athletic build, mmmmmmmmm. Not sure, didn't see the game, they showed one highlight where he threw a good TD ball, but the beat Troy by only 18 and it was close going into the 4th qtr. sacosud
My son had a football game, so I have not seen the game yet. I listened to it on the radio though. Pryor had 4 td passes in the game and Boeckman did not play much. I was watching my son more than listening, however I think he had 2td's to Hartline and 1 to Robo and Nichol. The score was 14-10 going into the 4th quarter. I was not impressed with the day from what I heard. I will watch the game sometime tomorrow. Tress after the game said that Pryor is the starter now, however it was planned to be a 50/50 split. They had a list of Pryor plays and a list for Boeckman, but Tress said he felt during the game that Pryor appeared to be relaxed and was getting things done with his legs and made the decision to stick with Pryor. I also heard Dimitrius Stanley ripping Buckeye fans for booing Boeckman when he came in. I feel for Boeckman, it's not like he was trying to loss at USC and how soon the fans forget Boeckman provided some very big plays last season. Boeckman gray shirted and sacrificed so much to be a Buckeye and the fans repay him with showering boo's. I think that's flat disgraceful and should Pryor get hurt we will need Todd to play. I also believe in Pryor, but come on do any of the fans feel worse than Todd for last week's game!!!!! NOT ONE OSU fan sweated during 2 a days and none of us was playing against USC, FLA, or LSU. GO BUCKS. Edited September 21, 2008 by sacosud

Cameltosis
The team as a whole was very deflated with one serious USC hangover. In fact, so was the crowd. It was an unusual scene at the shoe. But Pryor looked good. He was very efficiant and ran well. He had the 4 touchdowns, a coule were of decent yardage. He had Robiskie over the middle for what would have been a 70 yard td. but Robiskie slowed and threw out one hand instead of 2 and dropped it. He should have at least layed out. Robiskie was horrible Saturday, very unispired. Other than that, Tress called the game VERY conservatively. I think Troy was game and OSU was flat, but if Tress opens it up at all they roll much easier than they did. I think he wanted to keep things simple for the kid and thats pretty much what happened. All in all I was very happy with his first game and I am very excited for what the future brings for him.
theeohiostate
I wasn't impressed and expected more. Following the long signing saga and hype surrounding this kid, I was hoping to see some magic. Game plan was boring and may have led to my disappointment. No doubt he has the tools to be the best QB in college football by as soon as next season, but with so much pub , it's hard to get excited after watching this performance. Many Bucks upperclassman are not happy about Pryor getting the work over Boeckman, I think it showed very loudly on Saturday to a point where I felt there may have been a little lack of effort, intentionally. Robiskie comes to mind.

Robiskie comes to mind. I dont know what you expect from a true freshman in his first start? He was 10 for 16 with 4 td's and one pick. If I remember correclty the pick was on a hail mary at the end of the half. He would have had a hell of lot more yards if Robiskie would have had his head out of is ass. I dont care who is pissed at the coaching decision, thats not Pryors problem. Boekman had been horrible and lost his job, plain and simple. Pryor also rushed for over 60 yards to boot. You know Tress is going to bring him along somewhat slowly which explains some of the conservative calls. I thought the kid did well with the cards dealt him. GWPFFL BrianW
Well then there is a serious problem with the team as a whole if upperclassmen aren't happy. Bottom line is Boeckman has struggled since the Illinois game last year, and Pryor was THE ONLY weapon that made USC change anything that they were doing. Upper classmen should be buying into what the coaches say no matter what. They are the leaders. I applaud Jim Tressell for making the tough decision, because at the end of the day, you play your best players. Pryor > Boeckman and it's not even close.
