Wow, what a disgusting 1st half that was for Penn State. It was a great drive to get within three before the half, and then............

Penn State has come out in the 2nd half and completely dominated the game, as they should have all along.

At the same time that I'm concerned that they could play as badly as they did in the first half, I'm impressed at their ability to pull it together and play phenomenal, physical football in the 2nd half......

Next week is going to be crazy. I'm having a big party at the house, and it is going to be bonkers !!!!

WE ARE...................PENN STATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D:wacko::D

They look like an odds on favorite to be in the BCS game. playing in the little 10 they will likely go undefeated, while the SEC and Big 12 beat up on each other. and yes TOS I know they still have to play next week, but I think State wins.

From what i saw today outta of my Bucks, I would reconsider that thought. This is the first game this season we've put it together. Beanie is almost 100% , Pryor is grasping what being the starter, the coaching staff is utilizing him the best way possible and MOST importantly our defensive front four just put it together. Playing in the Shoe is a huge bonus . Before today, I would have agreed with you, now I'm swayed that the Bucks can pull off the win at home.

It should be a good game, but this Penn State offense is special and can score points on most any defense. Pryor is going to be great, I have know doubt about that, but he is just still a Freshman and the Penn State D will likely spy him to help try and contain his running ability. Clark has been terrific and with the balanced attack that we have, he can run the ball as well to make the D honest with their rush too. With all the WRs that we have I think we have a great chance to beat OSU at the shoe next Saturday.

It will be our toughest test yet, but unlike many teams in the past few years, Penn State can really score, so even if OSU take a lead, we have the ability to put up points to get back into any game. Should be a great one. :wacko:

This game just goes to show that you can never take another opponent lightly. I know that JoePa drilled it into the kids' heads that they needed to focus on Mivhigan, but the way they came out in the first half showed that they were thinking ahead to the game v Ohio State.

I will say this, that Michigan showed some pride, guts and determination to not fold after their loss to Toledo. They came out and smacked Penn State right in the grill. I give Rich Rod and his staff credit for not letting this team fold as they could have easily done.

I'm seriously looking forward to the PSU-OSU game next week. I think what you're going to find is that this week's win by OSU was more in showing up Michigan State to be the one trick pony (Ringer) that they are rather than OSU being a dominant team. I'm not knocking OSU here, just pointing out that the perception of Michigan State may have been to regard them too highly. I feel that this week the hype machine will be in full swing but that the game will not be as close as many think. Penn State is just too solid on both sides of the ball.

JoePa is going to have something special lined up for Pryor after he thumbed his nose at PSU and his personal recruiting trip. As a PSU fan living in Columbus, this week is always huge. I actually got booed at the movie theater this weekend for having my PSU sweatshirt on. It will be a good victory.

That's awesome. You've got to love college football towns. :wacko:

Next week is going to be HUGH. I'll have a house full of crazy PSU fans. I hope we end the night as happy drunks rather than angry/depressed drunks.

Not as HUGE a game for tOSU as the Michigan game was a couple of years ago, but never the less it's a pivotal Big 10 battle, but certainly Penn State will have more on the line. Should be fun to see if the buckeys BCS NC experience works for or against them. It's not like tOSU is playing a great SEC or Pac 10 team, so I'm saying a Buckeye win won't be considered an upset in my mind.

Even down here in SC, we've got numerous Ohio State fans (none that went there) at my work. But thhis year, I've got a second Nittany Lion to help fight back. Just as long as the game is actually shown on the ABC station, I will be fine.
