KC Crazy
As a suffering Chiefs fan, I am a believer that our draft should be focused around our dreadful OL. I didn't see many MIA games this year and wondered just how good was Jake Long and how much of MIA's turnaround could be attributed to his play? I noticed for the Offensive ROY awards, he didn't receive any votes as did DEN's rookie Clady. Just was curious as I hope that the Chiefs go after A. Smith or M. Oher. 'canes2004
Jake Long has had a solid season as well as the rest of the OL.Very rare do you see him getting beat and really I cannot remember very many penalties called against him. He's only gonna get better and IMO was well worth the $. The man is a monster and his future is bright for sure. I'm not sure who it was, but one of the talking heads said the OL is the toughest position to fill in the NFL. Just 2 years ago, the Dolphins OL was horrible. Run blocking/pass protection, didn't matter. They were crap. Now they actually look pretty good and Long is a big reason for the transformation. OL is a big part of the recipe for fantasy production...so Miami players now have value... but seriously...can Ginn jr actually produce in the 1st half of the season?...he's like a Lee Evans clone.. Smackdown
Jake Long more than held his own his rookie season. He should be the Dolphins LT for the next 10 years. He started all 16 games - let up 2.5 sacks and was called for 5 penalties all year for a total of 40 yds. Clady's numbers are impressive as well . . . He started all 16 games - let up 0.5 sacks and was called 3 penalties all year for a total of 20 yds. The real joke comes from the Pro Bowl selection of Jason Peters of Buffalo . . . He started 13 games - let up 11.5 sacks and was called for 8 penalties all year for a total of 55 yds.

Opponents remember the guys that hurt them, not necessarily the guy that may have given up a sack. Peters is a crusher and a freak. He left way more carnage behind than Long or Clady. While his numbers may disagree, I would say that I would rather play across from Clady or Long than Peters 10 games out of 10.

Piles
I watched every Bills game this year. Peters was a huge disappointment this year. He should not have made the pro bowl. I do think a lot had to do with the hold out but the man played more like a little boy this year, unfortunately.
