satelliteoflovegm
I am not looking for owners just some more experienced dynasty people to point out any problems they might see. Mostly I was looking for feedback on the rules I have. I am also quite confident I will regret that statement. I have convinced myself the system is very good and perhaps a reality check is needed. Keep in mind the current owners trust me and I have been commishing these guys for 10+ years. RADL I hope this doesn't get moved to the find a league section. Maybe it goes in the Fantasy forum, who knows? Edited March 4, 2009 by satelliteoflovegm

Seahawks21
commish plays for free? id get rid of that poopy rule. agreed. When I was 20 I would have loved playing in this league. I have since found that if you have too many rules and processes, there is simply too much to do, and more importantly, too much for the owners to bicker about. Fantasy burnout waiting to happen. I wouldn't have the heart to do it. I have one foot into fantasy retirement so I'm a bad example, but just reading this book of rules is alone more work than I would like to put into a fantasy league. Get me a pretty simple scoring system, lets have our auction and go play. Also, I'm out on any kind of keeper leagues. The draft is the funnest part of the entire league, especially an auction style, so why not do one every year? The worst part though of keeper leagues is that you get two teams on completely different sides of the spectrum, so you could see trades like Moss, Stephen Jackson and Philip Rivers for Chris Johnson. They look fine for the future but are so one-sided now that an otherwise average team is now the favorite to win the league. No foul play, but one team is rebuilding and the other is trying to compete. Uggh. No more ranting. As you were. satelliteoflovegm
That rule will probably go, yes. It is (To be detemined) I know the debate in generates around here. It isn't an issue for my leagues. If one owner were to object I would get rid of it for sure. It is a book, I know. But I marvel at the breivity of some by-laws and just cringe at the problems I forsee. A legit criticism though...thanks. satelliteoflovegm
I know they won't read it all, but it's there if needed. All of it was needed at some point the last 14 years. It's a legit critique because it SEEMS overwhelming at that length. A possible turn off for some.
