Chief Dick
Man, that's awesome. Vick definitely needs to be given serious consideration for the starting job. He just brings a different energy to that offense. Will be interesting to see that QB battle the rest of training camp.

phazed
Vick seems too indecisive and inconsistent if you ask me. I thought Kolb looked good, even though he could have had like 2 throws picked off.
Deathpig
The best part about this post is the title-- an excellent example of the type of title slant you see (and probably don't even notice) in journalism. How does entering a game up 6-0 and leaving the game down 27-19 qualify as 'seals the win'? It could have just as easily been written as: "Former All-Pro Quarterback shows rust against second-string defense" or "Vick's turnovers prove costly, bailed out by fourth-round rookie QB" Same ol' Vick though, capable of making a 'How did he do that?!' play back to back with a 'Why did he do that?!' play. No question he gives the Eagles some different options (he's the anti-Kolb), but it doesn't seem like you can ever predict what you're going to get when you let the genie out of the bottle. Do Philly homers have an idea of when/where Vick will be used during the season? Change of pace QB? Goal line? More snaps later in the game where his fresh legs can go against tired defenders? Or will he just be a backup? Curious if/how he negatively effects goal-line touches or Kolb's value during the season. By extension, how long is Kolb's leash? Is Vick the answer if Kolb is injured or it turns out he can't cut it?

I expressed the same concerns in an earlier post but was told I was over-reacting. Celek? Both WR's? McCoy? If he's good for a few TD's in the red zone, I don't wanna be on the losing end that week because of Vick.
