Help me understand Oakland

Zona is AWFUL against the run. McFadden is over 4 YPC. Yet they have thrown 15 passes and run McFadden 7 times.

Am I missing something?

I know it's Oakland and they are morons...but really?

Oh, I've been a Green Bay fan all my life - trust me, I've seen coaches out-think themselves on this tons of times. "Hmmm, they think we're gonna pass, and they know that we know that they think we're gonna pass, so let's cross 'em up and pass."

Let's try this. McFadden has been great. Averaging 5 YPC. 3 100 yard games if he gets 4 more yards today. I have an idea, let's bring in a RB who has ONE CARRY all year long and let him try and get the TD. And he gets stopped.

The things these coaches do NEVER ceases to amaze me. I mean you can't make this stuff up.

1st and goal from the 1, yet you can't punch it in.. Bush stuffed, Delay of game, then force 2 passes to Heyward-Bey..??

THAT is why they are the Raiders.

If Bush had been in the flow and was getting even a couple of carries and looked okay, MAYBE you bring him in there, but the guy has ONE TOUCH all year (and it was for -2 yards), and you bring him in on 1st and goal from the 1. Someone explain the way these coaches coach to me, because I admit I am at a total loss.

And instead of punting and pinning the Cardinals deep, you go for a 58 yard FG with over 4:30 to go in the game???

This is comical!

Not that this is news to anyone, but they are THE worst coached team in the league IMO. Joke. They GAVE this game to Zona. They have outplayed them in everyway except coaching wise and dumb penalty wise.

The Cards handed us the game over and over again and we couldn't do anything with it.

Two defensive penalties on third down in the endzone on the same drive, giving us 10 - count em - 10 shots from within ten yards, and we couldn't score.

Two recovered muffed punts for a measly six points.

Not to mention the Cards' DBs dropped three sure INTs.

Sorry. Raiders didn't deserve to have Jano make that kick.

But there are plenty of people who would counter with "well if you're so smart why aren't you an NFL coach blah blah"

Yknow I remember a time in the 80s when the Colts were annually pathetic like this and the Raiders were so good. God bless the past in the past.
