Scorcher
Can he be trusted for consistency now. Last week I thought it was a fluke and that he would fade away. After this week I am wondering if he can be trusted as a consistent receiver with Tebow at the helm. The only time I ever played him was the first game with Tebow. This week he was on my bench while J Baldwin disappeared in Miami. I know Decker is a legitimate talent. Does he have a rapport with Tebow now? Hugh 0ne
No WR can be trusted to be consistent with an inexperienced rookie starting QB like Tebow at the helm. I think Decker will have some nice games, but I wouldn't want to be relying on him week in-week out.
detlef
I've been playing him nearly every week in a team with deep starting requirements. Deep enough that , in all but perfect weeks, you're bound to have at least one player not do too terribly much. As a result, I've been able to take advantage of the few weeks he's done well and, over all, he's ranked high enough to warrant a starting spot. Mind you, he's hardly a pillar of my team. Start him, you get nothing. Bench him, he goes off. Not something I would enjoy!
detlef
It bears mention that he's had exactly 2 games where he basically laid a goose-egg. In 6 others, he's been OK once and good to great five others By comparison, Vincent Jackson has crapped the bed 3 times, been barely OK two times and great 3 times. I don't know about you guys, but a guy with a 75% chance of putting up numbers that you're not going to be pissed about and better than 50% chance of putting up numbers that you're going to be totally happy with to thrilled with is worth, at very least, a WR3 spot on my team. Hell, I'd be happy if I got that kind of consistency from any of my WRs.

Plus, just think of all the bonus pts Decker owners have gotten for all those double headers that have allowed him to play in 13 games already this year! CaP'N GRuNGe
Not sure what you're talking about. 2 + 6 + 5 = 13 We just finished week 9 of the 2011 NFL season. Must be some of that fancy new math.

In the other 6 games, he's been OK once and good to great five others I think you missed the comma. And it would have actually been 2 + 6 + 1 + 5 = 14 Edited November 10, 2011 by Zooty

Brentastic
^ this. however, I do think Decker will be the #1 target overall. I wouldn't try to guess when he's going to get his touches. I'd either play him every week or bench him every week... depending on the rest of your WR group. Yep (to the bolded).
