e5volcano
Wonder if this decreases Bush's value.
Bronco Billy
Wonder if this decreases Bush's value. You think Lovie is trying to acquire Bush for his FF team?
matt770
You think Lovie is trying to acquire Bush for his FF team? There is a really filthy joke in there somewhere.
matt770
This is pretty awesome if true. Per ESPN: Updating an earlier report, coach Lovie Smith indicated Monday that Forte did not sustain a high ankle sprain this past Thursday against the Packers, ESPN Chicago reports. "Matt did go down with an ankle injury. It's not a high ankle sprain, as has been reported," Smith said Monday on WBBM 780-AM Radio. Spin: Though Forte did not sustain the more severe variety of ankle sprains, he is still sore and his Week 3 status remains iffy enough for the Bears to have added some running back depth by re-signing Kahlil Bell. EW3
Let's hope it's just sore! At least I have T.Richardson to replace him for now in 1 league and Bush in another. And let's hope they don't rush him back in, let it heal fully!
gilthorp
Maybe some esteemed Huddler who can get inside information will know more. Locally, there is no other information being dug up. They will be tight lipped about it all - and the trigger you need to look for will be what they do with Khalil Bell.
Jolly Rodgers
I read somewhere that he was jogging today during their workout and did not have a noticable limp going on. Jolly Rodgers
http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/8390381/chicago-bears-coach-lovie-smith-says-matt-forte-high-ankle-sprain "Forte didn't participate in Monday's session, and he won't be on the field Wednesday when the team resumes practice, according to Smith. But at the conclusion of the workout on Monday, Forte trotted off the practice field without any noticeable discomfort, and also wasn't wearing a brace or walking boot on the injured right ankle." If this is true, I can't see him missing more than 1-2 games. Initial reports were that he'd be out 4-6 weeks.
