MikesVikes Posted September 5, 2013 Share Posted September 5, 2013 There is another site (There is?) that ranks Ponder as the 36th fantasy QB. Obviously some non-starting QBs are ranked higher than he is, including Matt Cassell a few notches up. Not only that but Cassell gets drafted on the chance that ponder gets benched or injured. I'll go on record that Ponder is no Brad Johnson but Cassell is no Randall Cunningham either. Five backup QBs get drafted ahead of a player that took his team to the playoffs last year. You ponder that one. It's not too different than having Ponder not even show up on the cheat sheet page if the Huddle's top 39 QBs. He is on the list. I didn't draft him in any league this year but I usually have a top 20 QB on my teams. But I hear rumbling about the Vikings as possibly getting the #1 overall pick next year complements of Christian Ponder. NFL?..sure ok.
