Wolverines Fan
http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5986/joique-bell Lions released RB Joique Bell. It's a no-brainer move for the Lions, who move forward with Ameer Abdullah, Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner at running back. Releasing Bell creates $2.5 million in cap space. Going on 30, Bell seemed out of gas in 2015, battling injury and averaging an anemic 3.45 yards per carry. Bell boasts a sub-par 3.98 YPC for his career. Abdullah should get the first crack on early downs, but Zenner could also get a shot. Bell's phone should be silent through the early weeks (months?) of free agency. stevegrab
Somewhat good news for Abdullah owners like myself, but he had lots of trouble last year. If Megatron does retire, the Lions offense is going to be quite different unless they sign somebody to replace that big WR threat (Golden Tate isn't that guy, and probably not a #1 WR either). kdko
If you would have said "Abdullah" or "Riddick", maybe that woulda been a solid statement... but Zenner? C'MON MAN! I honestly think you're the one that should be laughed at. It was just preseason, but have you seen the talent this guy has shown? Abdullah isn't going to be a workhorse and has shown he can't handle the backfield duties IMO. Zenner could make a lot of noise and I'll for sure be picking him up in the late rounds of next years draft. He has far more potential than Riddick and Abdullah.

stevegrab
Why? Zenner is a nickel trying to be a dime. nickle vs. dime terms for a running back? I thought those were defensive formations and terms for a DB.
