  1. Basically yes. With more than 2 teams, the total number of games between all the teams tied are considered, not just head to head between two individual teams. Team 1 has a 2-1 record, or 66% winning record in head to head games between the 3 teams. Team 2 has a 1-1 record, or 50% winning record. Team 3 has a 1-2 record, or 33% winning record.
  2. But playing devil's advocate, what if the free transaction team won due to the points the free transaction gave him. The losing team, presuming that they are still in the hunt, gets a loss due to the handout given to the team with no chance. What if instead of a kicker, it was a QB, say Russel Wilson who had a 30+ point week. That could have easily been the difference between a win or loss.
  3. I've been in leagues with small benches where a owner will just take a zero if they have a stud kicker (if there is such a thing) rather than having to lose him or a more valuable bench player during a bye week. I think it's kind of similar here. The fact that Akers wasn't officially ruled out, released, and/or put on IR I think adds that a transaction, free or charged, should not have been required.
  4. It's fair as long as it's nondiscriminitory in applying fate. The NFL team that scores the most points in a season doesn't necessarily win the Superbowl...or even make the playoffs. Just look at TB and NO. They are 7th and 11th in the NFL currently but are the top 2 scoring NFL teams.
  5. Several? Try a decade and a half in 1997. I didn't even realize the Colts had a team before Peyton.
  6. This is why I much rather have a month of pink in October then a month of brown for prostate cancer awareness in November. The number and type of promotional activities in October is much more appealing.
  7. You're local alcoholic and/or liquor store clerk can probably suggest one. Or just make the clerk's day and get one of every six pack in the store.
  8. Well, since he's commish just take whoever he wants, damn what anyone else in the league thinks. Declare martial law!
  9. Reminds me of a newspaper article that's been around for a while.

Give it a few weeks and I bet you'll see $5 or less Asian knockoffs available online.
  11. You're talking about them. And remembered what they were about. And you watched the NFL Network. Marketing WIN!
  12. So just give out participation ribbons or something at the end of the game and/or season? I think that could work...
  13. Since there is so little to go on, the tie breakers work out to be who has the better division record as well as who has the better combined points for and against ranking in their conference. AFC: 1-3 beat the others since they had division victories and order was determined by combined points for and against rankings in the conference. The rest were just the remainder of the winning AFC teams with Houston being the lone remaining division winner. 1. Baltimore 2. New York Jets 3. San Diego 4. Houston 5. New England 6. Denver NFC: 1st-3rd because they had division victories, and Dallas edges Arizona out as their combined points for and against was slightly better then Arizona when compared with all teams. Arizona was also slightly ahead of TB in conference points ranking. 1. Dallas 2. Arizona 3. Tampa Bay 4. Chicago 5. San Francisco 6. Atlanta On a side note, what is the farthest the tie breakers have ever had to go in the real playoff rankings?
  14. The NFL and it's teams are businesses, just as all other professional sports. They move from time to time, usually for greener pastures. Get over it.
  15. But it says right there on the home page of MFL (if you can load it) "Try us to experience the most flexible and reliable fantasy football league management service in the industry." in big bold red letters...
