  1. Is it time to drop this kid or is he going to be relevant in 2012?
  2. Thank you kegger for that, sorry for listing that site on the huddle forum but it's really the only place I've found information and reasoning for why the IDP Guru's rank the Individual Defensive Players accurate enough to warrant consideration. For free anyway. Linemen against Seattle makes sense, and just heard on SNF about the Steelers being rushed the most so that makes sense. DB's I like to use are with the strong safety position, and teams like Buffalo, Denver, and the Titans can be quite good although the position is a flexible one to say the least. LB's against Cedric Benson did really well last season, so I just was thinking over the weekend that using a LB against a team that's going to give their runner 20-30 carries a game should do well.
  3. The Bills schedule against the run the rest of the way isn't good. Fitzpatrick's going to be airing it out a lot. Steve Johnson and David Nelson the rest of the year.
  4. LB's going against someone getting atleast 20 carries a game... a.k.a. Murray. DB's going against fillin QB's from Houston and Chicago? Linemen facing the Colts,Bears and Chiefs. You can find nice info here: http://www.idpguru.com/2011/10/2011-rest-o...p-rankings.html
  5. I picked up Prince and Searcy as fliers. I think http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6634/danorris-searcy may land the strong safety position in Buffalo when free agency opens, if Whitner leaves (he's not even on roto's depth chart ATM. Buffalo has a really good record for picking up quality fantasy productive defensive backs. This is a very nice list, I just wanted to give a shout out for a name that wasn't mentioned. Most don't think this is a very good class for safeties anyway, but Jarrett is clearly on everyone's watch list. Jarrett and Peterson are definately worth drafting this year, I prefer Peterson in return yardage leagues.
  6. I think it's reasonable to see Peterson fall to the Niners. Due to the NFL lockout, we may see more teams reach for a quarterback because of the lack of free agency moves. Here's how I think it might go: 1. Carolina Panthers - QB Cam Newton 2. Denver Broncos - DT Marcell Darius 3. Buffalo Bills - DT Nick Fairley 4. Cincinnati Bengals - QB Blaine Gabbert 5. Arizona Cardinals - LB Von Miller 6. Cleveland Browns - WR A.J. Green 7. San Francisco 49ers - CB Patrick Peterson 8. Tennessee Titans - DE Robert Quinn 9. Dallas Cowboys - DE Da'Quan Bowers *possible trade* 10. Washington Redskins - QB Jake Locker 11. Houston Texans - CB Prince Amukamara 12. Minnesota Vikings - QB Ryan Mallet 13. Detroit Lions - OT Tyron Smith 14. St. Louis Rams - WR Julio Jones 15. Miami Dolphins - RB Mikel Leshoure *surprise* 16. Jacksonville Jaguars - DE Cameron Jordan 17. New England Patriots (from Oakland) - DE J.J. Watt 18. San Diego Chargers - LB Aldon Smith 19. New York Giants - DT Stephen Paea 20. Tampa Bay Bucs - DE Ryan Kerrigan 21. Kansas City Chiefs - OT Gabe Carimi 22. Indianapolis Colts - OT Dereck Sherrod 23. Philadelphia Eagles - G Mike Pouncey 24. New Orleans Saints - DT Corey Liuget 25. Seattle Seahawks - QB Christian Ponder *surprise* 26. Baltimore Ravens - LB Akeem Ayers 27. Atlanta Falcons - DE Adrian Clayborn 28. New England Patriots - LB Justin Houston 29. Chicago Bears - OT Anthony Castonzo 30. New York Jets - DE Cameron Heyward 31. Pittsburgh Steelers - OT Nate Solder 32. Green Bay Packers - RB Mark Ingram
  7. I just offered Hillis for 1.01 and Hillis/Wayne for Moreno/2012 first and got shot down. This Madden deal just put a stranglehold on my RB2.
  8. Jones sort of reminds me of a Dez Bryant, where Green seems like a Wallace. You probably can't go wrong with either, so I'd say situation will make it more appealing. Since I think Green will be a Brown, and Jones will be a Ram, I like Jones the best at the moment.
  9. Think he'd be a great fit in New England.
  10. That's a very debateable question. I've heard J.Dwyer could vulture a TD or two from Mendenhall especially if injury occurs. Ryan Mathews is sure to be given the opportunity down there with all the Vincent Jackson trouble, and is the most likely candidate to succeed. Other options for goal line situations are J.Best, B.Tate, and M.Hardesty. I think Gerhart and Dixon may see a TD or two as well, but doubt they'll be consistant. So the bottom line as far as goal line rookie stud in the rookie class rank, I'd go: 1. Mathews - projecting minimal 7 TD's 2. Best - projecting minimal 5 TD's 3. Spiller - projecting 5 TD's 4. Tate - projecting 5 TD's 5. Hardesty - projecting minimal 3 TD's 6. Gerhart - projecting 3 TD's 7. Dwyer - projecting 3 TD's 8. Dixon - projecting 2 TD's
  11. Since it's possible to start 4 RB's in this system, I'd have to go Gore as well. Hopefully he stays healthy this year, they sure upgraded the offensive line.
  12. They should have been keepers, but apparently these guys aren't very active, or aren't very knowledgeable.
  13. Since you're offering up a chance to brag, I have a nice team in this 5 player keeper league. We don't have to give up draft picks for keepers. Start: QB - Going to target Brady or Rivers as late as round 3, and Favre as a backup in round 6 *RB - Chris Johnson *RB - Ray Rice *RB/WR - Deangelo Williams *WR - Andre Johnson *WR - Marques Colston TE - Going to target Winslow or Zach Miller in the draft as late as round 10 K - Going to target M.Crosby DL - Going to try and get Jared Allen in Round 1 DB- Going to target Weddle, Branch, Wilson, or Bell as late as round 11 LB - Going to try to get Ruud as early as round 2 IDP - Going to target Lofton as late as round 5 Bench - Going to target J. Lauranitis as late as round 8 Bench - Going to target S.Smith (NYG) as late as round 4 Bench - M.Wallace as late as round 7 Bench - rookie RB/WR Bench - veteran RB/WR Bench - backup *Current Keeper
  14. Steve Smith looks to be a great PPR draft selection per ADP this year. The hype on H.Nicks makes Smith a nice WR target that looks to be falling to the bottom of the 3rd, and sometimes even 4th round.
  15. Jermichael Finley will be the top producing TE in 2010, and the production will be significant enough to warrant being the first TE drafted off the redraft and dynasty boards in 2011.
