Micheal Bennett vs LVMPD

Super tenuous issue going on here, I want to start a discussion about it with other intelligent people cause the internet is full of F tards and trolls who can't have a civil conversation. By now I assume you all heard about the incident in Vegas. After hearing Bennett's account, I was like wow, this sounds really bad, but I knew there had to be more, and I really think he dug himself a deep hole here. He claims he was racially profiled for being a black man in the right place at the wrong time... okay then

I just watched a video released by LVMPD where Bennett is seen running away from the police officers after they see him hiding behind a gaming machine, they point at him and tell him to stop, he runs away and jumps over a concrete barrier INTO TRAFFIC. There are thousands of other black men and women seen on the video leaving the casino, but only 1 person jumps over a wall into traffic risking their safety to avoid police?? Am I the only one here who feels this is a lot more than "being a black man in the right place at the wrong time"

The latest is that the police union has sent a letter to the NFL hoping for them to assist with the investigation, and LVMPD has reached out to get a formal statement from Bennett as they claim the allegations are "obviously false" It is reported that over 125 camera views are or have been reviewed. I've never seen a police department respond this quickly and aggressively to this issue over the last few years. I get the feeling that they have something that has yet to be released and that is going to really discredit Bennett's account.

Even if he was just hiding, he can justify that as " i was affraid of being shot by the gunman" cause there were tons of people who were hiding under tables etc, what was suspicious is that he runs out when they spotted him, maybe he runs out when he sees the officers and believes he is now safe to came out from cover??? But then why the need to jump the wall when they are chasing after him ? The gun to the head part becomes much clearer when everything is taken into account seems way more justifiable to me now that more information has been released. The officer ( who is Hispanic btw and is extremely relevant given the accusations) has to assume the man running and jumping the wall is the gunman at this point, so when he detains him,  the only action to meet the threat of a gun on a person, is to match that threat in order to control the suspects hands and ensure the officer's safety. IN ADDITION, there is reportedly a video of Bennett speaking to a supervisor after being released and telling the supervisor that he had no problem with the actions taken and being detained, his only issue was with the gun to his head, that is a very different tale told when the camera was infront of him on an NFL platform.

Bennetts actions were suspicious so the cops engaged him, not stopping when they told him to and continuing to run away is a very bad idea.

I read a story on CBS to get some more background and the presser that LVMPD gave included them saying they had a supervisor explain to Bennett why he was being detained and that he understood that (wasn't upset or angry). He did mention the one cop threatening to blow his head off, and they're investigating that but police don't deny that claim initially.

This sounds like he was more upset after, or maybe mentioned it to somebody and they told him he was wronged.

I also see several reports saying the NFL has repsonded to police union request and will not be investigating Bennett saying there is "no basis" for an investigation.
