David Johnson value?

I'm not sure what to do with this guy.  Now that AZ added Drake, can DJ even be traded for another RB1 or WR1?

My team has become rather lopsided with 4 Chargers (Williams, Gordon, Ekeler, Henry) and 3 AZ players (DJ, Edmonds, Kirk).  Not good.  Considering packaging DJ plus Gordon for another pass catching RB like Cook. Or maybe dumping him for a solid up and comer.

I honestly wonder if he'll ever be a 20 PPG player again.

If you could package Gordon and DJ for Cook, that would be a helluva trade for you.  I can't imagine the other person would go for it.  I'd trade away Cook for nothing less than a solid RB1 and WR1.

You probably won't get appropriate value for DJ in a trade.  Too many unknowns with him right now.  His injury could be something that he comes back in a few weeks or it could be a nagging season long injury.

Best to see what the fallout is from the Drake trade.  If they keep DJ and Edmonds, then that backfield is going to be a nightmare.  They've already said Edmonds will be involved when DJ comes back.  Throw Drake into the mix and I don't know what you get but it's not good for fantasy purposes.

If DJ can recover from his injury; I would expect his value to remain fairly similar. Although, the Cards seem to be keeping the potential severity of that injury shrouded in secrecy.

I've come to believe that Kingsbury is a pathological liar.  Perhaps he's doing it to keep defenses off guard but he's also screwing with a multi billion dollar gambling business.  He's lucky the mafia doesn't still run the show, he'd probably be limping after week 7.
