I don't know when your waivers deadline is. If Emmitt doesn't play, I think Hambrick is the better start. When Brown went out last week against my Bears, Robert Holcombe got carries before A. Smith did. I'd go with Hambrick.

Latest is Emmits Questionable, no practice again for him

Emmitt practiced today and was upgraded to probable. I don't know how Chris Brown is, but it would appear he is more likely to miss this week than Emmitt, so I would have to go with Antowain Smith.

Cardinals: Smith upgraded

THE NEWS

Running back Emmitt Smith practiced and was upgraded to probable on Friday. Smith had missed practice all week with a sprained left ankle that he suffered last week against the Giants.

OUR VIEW

Smith owners are glad to have Emmitt back on track to play Sunday against the Panthers, who have given up an average of two touchdowns a game over the last five weeks. The Cardinals are glad to have him back because their only other options are Troy Hambrick and Josh Scobey.
