I don't think so, as I've heard nothing to support this, as I see the snaps with the first team to be about getting in sync, most likely the two back attack that was run in 2003. Foster is the starter, but Davis will spell him from time to time as Foster did Davis in 2003. That's my take on it, but should I hear anything different I'll let ya know. Peace PD.

I agree PanterDave, While Davis seems to be healthy, he can not be relied on the carry the team in years past and Fox knows this as better than anyone, it's time to hand the ball to Foster and to insure his health allow Davis 5-7 bones a game. Fox had already stated earlier in the pre season that Foster was poised to carry the ball 35 times if necessary, i doubt that is the case, but 20-25 is good enough.

Carolina has TWO running backs who've had microfracture surgery on their knees.  Something tells me Shelton sees SOME starts this year.

Agreed...those knees won't hold up. Something tells me Carolina is a little concerned about it too, having nabbed Shelton so early on.

Since when is Deshaun Foster such a good rb anyway? I know he had a big game against the chiefs last year (who didn't) and had some big plays in the playoffs, but he is essentially an average starting rb at best w/serious injury concerns. that being said, he'll probably wind up on at least one of my teams.

My hunch is Davis starts if he's healthy, because the offense is set up to his style. I'll be watching the game tonight vs. Cleveland and I'll post with info afterwards.
