ced1001
Me too. I picked him up yesterday as an emergency starter. He performed very well and may just turn out to be a steal.

I wouldn't feel much better if I had Curtis over Bruce at this point. TH is the only consistant option as far as St.Louis receivers go. twiley
What do you guys think? Ram homers? 1022843[/snapback] Bruce has been steadily declining and I think this will be a great opportunity to see if Curtis can step up and replace him. It's amazing how fast Curtis is and this may sound strange but I swear they're faster when you're watching them live.
Bill Swerski
He had 89 receptions and almost 1,300 yards last year, so I think that predictions of his demise are premature at this point. His slow start this year is probably due more to the ball being spread around to the slot receivers than an actual athletic decline. I don't see why Bruce can't be productive into his mid-30's, as Jimmy Smith has been.
lhamp
He has turf toe guys... that has little to do with age. As pointed out by Bill, last year was his best since 2000.... also, as a point of reference, he's three years younger than Jimmy Smith and three months older than Marvin Harrison. Doc Holliday
Bruce is a fine WR. that being said I had him when he was younger through all his hamstring injuries. I would stay away from this guy while he is hurt.
Tony Bats
Curtis will take over if Bruce ends up missing time. Turf toes are ugly for WR and they linger.
