The Waterboy
Mediocre and Favre should never be in the same sentence. 1023851 Agreed. You know what? I don't think I am ever going to get over the whole Brett Favre-Browning Nagle thing. Maybe they need to bring him to NY like Roy Hobbs - just for one year. 15-some-odd years later. The Waterboy
What exactly has Phillip Rivers done in the NFL to make you think he's better than Ramsey, Volek or Favre? 1023861 Well, not a thing, but Ramsey's play, and Volek's struggles late last year have done plenty. Favre is not an option in all likelihood.
Skrappy1
Favre is not an option in all likelihood. 1023875 I agree, it's hard to imagine Favre leaving Green Bay. My only point is Rivers is a complete unknown right now, and I'm quite skeptical of rookie and unproven QBs...too many become complete busts. I don't know if it's a realistic option either, but if it is, I'd rather see them get Volek (he really only had 1 bad game towards the end of last season) than a guy who has thrown all of 8 NFL passes in his career. Ursa Majoris
Jonathan Quinn is available, I understand.
Pope Flick
Pennington=Grossman=Glass. Nice knowin' youse guys. Whenever a team is auditioning Chicago Bears QB castoffs, you know it's bad. My prediction: Bollinger comes out, wins his first two starts then teams figure him out and it gets ugly. It happens to Anthony Wright every 2-3 years, and I'm guessing this'll be the same thing too. Volek showed some life last year - some were weak defenses, but nonetheless he put up some decent numbers, save for the last game or so. I double checked his numbers, he didn't tail off as badly as I thought. I would put him in a different class than Ramsey.

J-town Steel
I caught the tail end of that, but I would say there's about zero percent chance of that happening. I'm guessing that Vinny and/or Quincy Carter will be getting calls from the Jets very soon if they haven't already. That's just my speculation though, and I heard other speculation on ESPN that maybe the Jets could try and trade for Volek or Ramsey. 1023681 I forgot all about Q Carter. Where is he at right now?
Fantasy Jesus
The Jets are done. Good thing they signed Pennington through 2011. Vinny T is locked into a 5 year pizza parlor contract somewhere in Elmont, Long Island. Crackhead Quincy Carter was last seen scaling the fence at the Jets Hofstra practice facilities looking for an audition. The Ravens are going to pummel Brooks Bollinger this Sunday.
