alphaMIKE429
I put out a question to everyone about a trade recently about me giving up Manning and a dud for Brady and a RB My question is what do you guys think about the rest of the year for these two guys? If you look at the strength of schedule for them both it obviously favors Manning during the playoff weeks. The problem we know is Indi's Defense and Edge taking TDs away. Run Run Run has been the mantra. On the other hand he is P.Manning and if anyone has a chance of throwing a bomb it's him. Brady is in Mannings shoes last year. Poor Def and alot of passing. His week 14-16 matchups are: at Buffalo home vs. Tampa at Jets So schedule wise it isn't pretty. Any help would be appreciated as this could be the trade / decision that makes or breaks my team this year...
WildTurkey
I'm staying put with Manning, FWIW. I think once D's adjust to their run game, the passing will have to open up.
Chavez
I agree with the above - overthinking aside, who'd you rather have fantasy-wise, Manning or Brady? The quick answer is "Manning"; he's lagging behind Brady in yds but DOES have more tds.
slickvick
I own Brady and he has been a nice surprise this season.I think he is leading the league in passing yardage. If you are getting a good RB in this trade that you can actually use then I would be inclined to do it.Brady was the 12th QB taken in my draft and I got what I wanted"consistency"18-20 points and the occasional big game. The way this season is going I think these QB's will finish up with very similiar points fantasy wise.
