Ralph Furley
Does anyone have any idea what his status may be for next year? I know his contract is up after this season. Any homers think he'll be resigned, or possibly traded? If he ends up somewhere else, where do you think it may be?
rajncajn
I predicted he was done before the season started. Of course I didn't think he'd get injured like that, but I think he's lost a step or two. Combine that with the fumbling problems he's never really gotten over & the injury & I think he'll go the way of Eddie George.
Ralph Furley
Well...judging by the amount of responses I got throughout the day, it looks as though a lot of other people probably don't really care about what happens to him either. I kind of figured the same thing as rajncajn.

Plenty of middle level RBs who normally would be able to earn a nice living in the NFL are going to be seeking other gainful employment soon, if they aren't already. The options for a damaged RB whose best season was 3 years ago (as it will be in 2006) are going to be limited.
isleseeya
i drafted him and suffered for a few weeks ...he has lost a step and the O Line for GB is miserable ...i think unfortunately he does go the same route as Eddie George and Rodney Hampton

I thought the upside of Ahman was having Davenport as his backup. When he got hurt I knew my team would be better off. Of course it would have helped in Najeh had played more than one half. Locally, the sportswriters feel that with his decline in ability, injury, and off-field issues, if he's back in Green Bay, it will be for a VERY low price.
