PantherDave
A 12 win team could be coming into a 10 win teams house, despite all the newly NE horn blowing, I like the Jags to come in and send NE to the golf courses.
Vet
This will be a nice learning experience for the Jaguars. The ass whooping that they will have administered upon them next weekend will be painful at first, but it will serve them well should they make it back to the playoffs next season. PantherDave
Only time will tell, and that's why they play the game. I like the Jag's.

PantherDave
Not at all, Jag's have played good ball this year, and have the DT to compete. The Pat's, while playing much better to close, won a cupcake division. It would not surprise me in the least to see them lose next week. Vet
...cupcake division... 1243954 The AFC East was bad. But let's face it, the Titans and Texans don't exactly strike fear into the hearts of anyone either.
Skippy
At playoff time it's never really a surprise, well mostly never, to see any team win on any given weekend. Having said that, Jax heading up to NE will be no picnic. I'd like to see some stats for these Florida teams heading up north. PantherDave
I will agree with you there, but they did beat the Bengals, and won at Pittsburgh. So, they most certainly have a punchers chance.

If Dallas makes the playoffs, I think ABC will grab that game and put it on Saturday night. But if Dallas is out, ABC might take the Patriots game. The Pats would probably be the next biggest draw nationally. It gets friggin' cold in Foxboro at night. CBS has the late Sunday slot, so if Dallas makes the playoffs the Pats/Jags will likely be the 4:00 game next Sunday. Pittsburgh/Cincy and Giants/Carolina are likely to be the two early games on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Chavez
I'd like to see some stats for these Florida teams heading up north. 1243963 Miami - 1971 - won at KC in OT; 1972 - won AFC Championship at Pitt 21-17; 1979 - lost 14-34 at Pitt; 1990 - lost AFC Championship 34-44 at Buf; 1995 - lost wild card game 22-37 at Buf; 1997 - lost wc 3-17 at NE; 1998 - lost 3-38 at Den; overall 2-4, haven't won a "cold weather" game since 1972. Jax - 1996 - won 30-27 at both Buf and Den, lost AFC Championship 6-20 at NE; 1997 - lost 17-42 at Den; 1998 - lost 24-34 at NYJ; overall 2-3 TB - 1997 - lost 7-21 at GB; 2000 - lost 3-21 at Phi; 2001 - lost 9-31 at Phi; 2002 - won 27-10 at Phi; overall 1-3. Florida team overall are 5-10; If you want to throw in warm-weather teams Atlanta, SD, and Car, warm-weather teams are 9-18 when playing on the road in cold weather, all other things being equal. Not sure what the average home-field advantage winning pct is for ALL playoff games.
