Disposable Hero Posted July 24, 2006 Share Posted July 24, 2006 I'm in a 14 team keeper league where we protect players by a salary cap. We start 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1K, 1D. WR's score 1pt for 3 recpt, 1pt for 10yds rec., 6pt for rush/rec. td's and a bonus 1pt at 100/150/200yds rec. RB's score 1pt for 3 recpt, 1pt for 10yds rush, 1pt for 20yds rec., 6pt for rush/rec. td's and a bonus 1pt at 100/150/200yds rush. Right now I have Rudi/CJ/Fitz/Shockey protected. I have the 1.08 pick in the draft but would looking at guys like Taylor/Martin/Green/T.Jones/Dillon or maybe one of the rookies White/Addai/Maroney/Williams. The owners of White/Addai are protecting Brown/Rhodes and pick before me. I love CJ and I'm not sold on McGahee. Their ADP's are 14/15 and decent RB's are hard to attain. What would you do and why? Give me a link to your post and I'll answer yours. Thanks in advance. I would keep Johnson. You guys start three wide receivers so with Johnson and Fitz, you are pretty set there for a while. McGahee could become anything. I kinda like him but Johnsons future is more stable and solid then McGahee's. Johnson is a fine WR...but if you address your RB's right now everyone else will be drafting them early leaving you some decent picks to shore up yourself at WR. I know McGahee has not been no stud. but considering his circumstances and the fact that he is a proven 300 carry a year guy despite bad circumstances..I would have to make this trade. If you are required to start 3 WR, having CJ and Fitz going into the draft is a much better tandum than anyone can possibly have. McGahee is a question mark this year with only 5 TD's last season. Asskickas Posted July 24, 2006 Share Posted July 24, 2006 Keep Chad. McGahee's schedule is brutal and if they don't get the QB situation down soon, he'll be facing 8 men in the box.
