rovdog
Does S. Davis pick up hurt him? I'm sure it's been asked but if it has could someone point me to the right thread?

frenzal rhomb
I guess with the release of Moe Williams - Push
hollywood_69
i read somewhere that after a couple of games davis might fit in, but if sjax plays well enough, davis just might be a 3rd stringer for insurance. fanball said that there are only 5 reliable rbs now, the top 3 rudi johnson and ronnie brown! after seeing moe williams get cut, i believe nothing changes for sjax. moe williams was a gl vulture but noone mentioned it, and moe's spot was third behind fisher. i don't see any reason to worry yet? now if sjax can't punch it in, ill be f'ed!! Randall
Microfracture knee surgery. It's some serious stuff. He'll factor in some but he may not be able to play long.
STL Fan
Linehan said yesterday that Davis will play in week one and will see carries on a regular basis to "compliment" and "spell" SJax. Many of us here in STL have thought for a while that Linehan is not happy with Jackson's running style and relative uncoachability. He is a big back who does not run like one. We'll see. Raider.Nation
Where than does Tony Fisher fit in? Will his role mainly just be a 3rd down back?
STL Fan
Exactly, Linehan said Fishers role as a sometimes third down back will probably continue, though he does like Jackson's hands on third downs. Martz left him in and he caught a lot of balls.

The Holy Roller
Does S. Davis pick up hurt him? I'm sure it's been asked but if it has could someone point me to the right thread? Not as much as the poor play of the Rams o-line. The first string has looked pitiful all preseason. I'm tempering my expectations.
hollywood_69
thanks stl fan, as a jackson owner for the past 2 seasons, i'm glad to hear your news, i believe spelling is good for the starters, as long as its not like what priest and lj did last year, 2 series to 1, or 1 and 1. that would str8 up suck for me. jackson has gr8 hands and under faulks tutiledge he should remain the 3rd down back. i cant believe i got sjax at #
