Easy n Dirty
When I consider Chiefs offensive players, I cannot help but be leery of the impact Herman Edwards might have on their overall offensive production. Maybe unfair since CuMar had his career year under Edwards only two seasons ago, and yeah I know the Jets never had the talent level that these Cjiefs enjoy, but I am scarred by watching years of draws and screen passes on 3rd-and-long, settling for field goals, etc. Anyone else share these concerns? Also, who is the Chiefs' offensive coordinator, and what's his track record?
The Wolf
I cannot help but be leery of the impact Herman Edwards might have "Hello????? YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!!" As a Jet fan, I was happy to see him go; of course, the grass is always greener on the other side, so Mangini may prove to be no better. As an LJ owner, I am ill. Let's just hope that Coach Edwards, a great motivator and a really good man, knows well enough to leave alone what works.
PaulOttCarruth
The Chiefs new OC is former offensive line coach Mike Solari. He will use the same playbook/scheme/philosophy as Al Saunders. It should be business as usual for the KC offense.

Also, who is the Chiefs' offensive coordinator, and what's his track record? As a Jets homer, let me say this: Herm is great for the running game, death to the passing game. Trent Green will have very mediocre stats this year. He is also a lousy game manager and will cause KC fans to scratch their heads in more than a few close games. Vermeil was (IMO) a great coach who always got the best of his players and always had their respect. Herm definitely can motivate and the Jets always played hard under him, but he is VERY conservative offensively and doesnt have Vermeil's flair for play calling or game management. For better or worse he will ride LJ till the wheels fall off (see CuMar)
muck
FWIW, Tony Dungy was thought to be a Peyton-killer when he showed up in Indy...
