BeeR
Thoughts? Going vs NE or STL pass D seems a wash at this point to me...
wolfpacker97
I have a similar WR issue. I have Bryant, Bruce, and R. Smith. I am leaning toward R. Smith. I hear STL has upgraded their Def enough to give the SF passing game some problems.

BeeR
Thx all. Those who say Coles, you seem to think it's an easy choice....why so? Both did well with over-achieving QBs vs weak Ds. Just wondering.
SMW
While I think Bryant will be very good this year as him and Alex Smith develop their rapport, i'd go with Coles while Pennington is still healthy...it may not last long. Land Thief
I have both of those wideouts and I'm gambling on Coles ar my WR3. Â You can never be sure, but I'm going with: Â COLES Edited September 15, 2006 by Land Thief
wolfpacker97
As I mentioned earlier, STL supposedly upgraded their D. If the Jets fall behind they will be forced to throw the ball...and they can fall behind quickly. Also, until they prove they can run the ball with new RB's this year, they MUST rely on passing in order to open up the field for the RB. I'm not a Pennington fan, but I think he will be forced to throw often. Watch out for Cotchery as well. I think he is the most under utilized player in the entire league. Brownsfan420
I watched Bryant very closely last year. Not happy with his effort on the field. Smith LOVES Vern Davis in the red zone. Pennington looks good (so far) and Coles seems to be the most reliable target, and a deep threat. Ride Coles until Chad's arm falls off. drarto
I agree Coles. He's a favorite target for Pennington. You know he'll get his catches. Bryant is higher risk, I think Coles is safer.
NEPats
I'm going with Coles even though I'm a Pats fan. I think he'll be matched up against Samuel who is easily fooled..
