isleseeya
Just saw this below ... anyone know anything more on this ? Sep 17 2006 11:37AM ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo has been told to be ready to play in the Week 2 game. QB Drew Bledsoe (back) has been receiving treatment on his back, but he denies having a back problem. Fantasy Impact: If Bledsoe struggles, don't be surprised to see Romo get some time this week. Grits and Shins
Dallas homer here and I have not heard word one about this. The backup QB ALWAYS has to be ready to play ... that is his job.

Nuts. Will, I have until the late afternoon games to put another QB in, appreciate the info. (Bill pulls Bledsoe aside) "I said, you have a back problem, got it?" Grits and Shins
The media here in Dallas has been talking about the whole Bledsoe vs Romo thing all week. They hate Bill Parcells because his only interaction with the media is at his news conferences. Since they have nothing concrete to go on the media speculates on things, like the QB situation. Bill was asked after the last game if Bledsoe was having back problems during the game and the response was no. I'm thinking this question was spun by the media to what this post reported

DMD
The media in Dallas has been trying to create some controversy all summer long and the problem is that Parcells has been very vague in answering everything this summer (including the circus surrounding TO) so the media just feeds itself. Particularly now that the TO thing appears over.
