Sharpie
I've got Witten on a bye this week and have to pick someone up. Here are my options: Martin at Detroit - caught 6 passes last week and the Lions blow Baker at Buffalo- started okay, tough D this week Wiggins vs. Chicago- averaging 5 passes a game so far but nothing in the red zone Troupe at Miami- Decent preseason ranking (like normal) nothing since, bad team Daniels vs. Redskins- Bad team but thehuddle has him as a sleeper Sheffler at NE- Nice talent and preseason but Plummer is in a funk Wrighster at Indy- getting some looks but nothing special Do any of these guys stand out as an option? Performance scoring Thanks
Sharpie
Someone has to have a good opinion of one of these guys!
Roo
Kind of hard man - these guys are a wash. I'd honestly check the team D rankings for TE (published today) and go with the guy playing against the worst TE defense. Or just spin the barrel and pull the trigger. (my gut leans towards Troupe or Baker)
Steelhead
even though he's going against Chicago I like Wiggins. He's always good for 3-4 rec. The others guys are too inconsistent.

Performance scoring I have the same problem with Gonzo on a bye and had narrowed it down to Wiggins, Daniels, and Scheffler. I might just go with Scheffler since he's already on my bench. This is a keeper league, and while I was looking more towards the future when I drafted him, I thought he would be fine as a bye week fill in for Gonzo. I didn't expect Plummer to start off the season in that funk you mentioned. I'm not sure I want to drop him though, because he was Cutler's go to guy in the preseason and Cutler may become the starter sooner than expected. If I were to pick a guy up, it would probably be Wiggins. At least he's consistently involved in the offense and should be good for a couple of points, even with a lousy matchup. Tboogs
Go with Wiggins...Brad is gonna be dumping it off to the te a lot...
spitfister
I don't think Wiggins has scored since CPepp went down, or maybe alumni weeked in Georgia. Baker will be the TD maker
