Red Storm
Of the following, who is the better option to go with as a back-up to Grossman: Vince Young Jeff Garcia Brad Johnson Chad Pennington Joey Harrington I am leaning towards Pennington or Young, based on schedules and match ups. Any thoughts?
wildbluefan
Harrington or Young, they are coming on now !!!
SLGRAF
I'd say Harrington. He has a pretty decent FFL playoff schedule, against NE, Buffalo, and the Jets. And, with Ronnie Brown banged up, he will have to pass more than usual to win games.
SaintsFanUnfortunately
Another vote for Harrington.
lock_it_up
Buffalo and NE both have strong defenses, (they aren't pushovers). I'd take Young, because he also gives you the rushing TD possibilities.
SLGRAF
Buffalo and NE both have strong defenses, (they aren't pushovers). I'd take Young, because he also gives you the rushing TD possibilities. Buffalo and New England are 16th and 15th against the pass, and Harrington's week 15 opponent, the Jets, are 21st against the pass. Hence, a pretty decent schedule for a QB.
