TimC
The SO is having her work friends out to the new house and all the neighbors are coming over Saturday. I'm waiting til July for my buds so we can just cook up on the grill and a keg of brew. Anyways, she'll be dragging me out to buy the wine. Anyone have suggestions for generic everyday list of wines everyone should like from the age of 25 (her work friends) to the age of 75 (our neighbors)? I'll print it and take to the grocery store on Friday. Gracias.
detlef
Delicato is a great line of very inexpensive wines. The Shiraz actually scored something like a 90 from Wine Enthusiast a few years back despite the fact that it costs like $7 per bottle. At any rate, they make Chard, Merlot, Cab, etc.

detlef
Gotta amen the Chat St. Michelle call if you are willing to step up a notch from the Delicato level. They make very good wine at every price point over a broad range of grape varietals.
