wha????????? if its 62 in t he house i dont think the pipes will freeze.. :D

 

 

No,no,no, If your T-stat is set for lets say 70, and then u drop it to 60, that means that the water in your pipes is not being circulated or heated for a while, because of the 10 degree drop. Meaning your water will be sitting in your pipes for hours without circulation. And if you have pipes in a crawl space or in exterior walls and the temp outside is below freezing, you run the risk of the water sitting in your pipes freezing up and cracking your pipes.
