Have they turned the job over now

:D

Jones carried 11 times to Benson 16 times last week.

I have heard rumors that they will be running Benson now to give Jones a rest for the playoffs, not sure if that is true.

I have both right now, but don't know who to start. Any homers know anything about this situation?

If am thinking of picking up Arlen Harris (K. Jones backup) and start him over either Jones/ Benson if they are just going to split it 50/50.

It would be nice if they just sat one perminetly until the NFL playoffs.

Help?

They also used Peterson last night. Chicago is never going to give a clean full-start to anyone, much less Benson. There has never been anything that reliable in the way CHI uses their RBs and even with the playoffs looming I would suspect all 3 will get playing time now and reduce their FF value even more.

Shame too because the schedule should be very sweet.

FWIW, I saw Lovie say yesterday they decided to rest T Jones because he tweaked his ankle during the game.

Here is a link mentioning the same thing.

Makes sense. Bears would have been foolish to risk worsening the injury with the lead they built, and the ease with which their offense was moving the ball. I'm convinved that when the game is still on the line, Thomas Jones is the starter. Once the game doesn't matter anymore, Jones becomes the 3rd down back, and maybe spells Benson when he needs a breather. Last night Peterson got those duties in order to protect Jones' ankle.

Course, this week the Bears could also build another early lead and Jones might see another early exit.
