ateam1970
I have the 9th overall pick, i have been offered a 3rd round and a 4th round for it from several teams. Everthing I look at tells me its an even swap, is it? I am giving up a top 3 WR for two good WRs.
Big Country
Is this a keeper or redraft and how many teams? If keeper, serpentine or NFL style draft? Which pick in the 3rd and 4th?

Footballjoe
No, keepers Picks 30 and 31 No way would I do it. You will lose your #1 pick. This is where most select their stud RB. If you are getting a lower #1 plus the extra picks I would do it.

Footballjoe
Who is this stud RB, there gone by then. all thats left is ?'s Apparently I am not understanding your question. You are in a non keeper league and have the #9 pick. Is that correct? If not, I think you need to provide more information. Big Country
I'm with Joe here. You don't think the question amrks are higher in the third/4th round than they are in the first. You are losing way too much in the drop and gaining way too little with the extra pick, IMO. I could see doing it if you were dropping into the early part of the second round and picking up that 4th rounder for a later pick, but not this steep of a drop. ateam1970
i agree, you're losing too much Tell who is there at 9, Gates, Holt, Marvin. If I give that one up I probly get T.J (WR) and Shockey at 30 and 31. thats not bad to me My league gets 2pts for TE receptions Edited February 13, 2007 by ateam1970

TJ and Shockey could be gone by that point
Footballjoe
Something is not adding up here. You say it is not a Keeper but you are picking tight ends at pick #9. I am totally confused. Give us specific information, who's on your team, how many you keep, scoring etc. this is the only way we can be helpful.
