Tech Neck

Anyone hear of this ? I think I may be experiencing this..I have had a stiff neck for about 3 weeks now..Im on the computer a lot here and home. My brother said it could be tech neck..Neck issues as a result of being on the computer a lot..Anyone have any info on this..They are calling it huddle neck now in my office.

Yeah. Get that, get the sore wrists and forearms too. It happens. Kind of lame but if you are not use to sitting at a puter all day it will hurt you.

There are two things you can do to help this. First, adjust your chair if it is adjustable. Sometimes, it's the angle of your head that causes this. Second, get up and walk away from teh computer for a at least 5 minutes every hour. It is best if you can actually walk outside shere you have to focus your sight on something more than 20 feet away from you. This will help with your eysight as well as relieve stress and pressure in your neck.
