rajncajn
Simmons INFO from nola.com The Saints have not agreed to a contract with free-agent linebacker Brian Simmons of the Cincinnati Bengals, but Simmons has not scheduled any more visits, and his agent said he is seriously mulling the possibility of coming to New Orleans. "The visit went really well; he was very impressed and had a particular affinity for Joe Vitt, the linebackers coach, and really liked everybody," said Jerrold Colton, Simmons' agent. "We have some discussions going on, but we're hopeful. At this stage in his career, Brian really wants to be with a team he feels can win the Super Bowl. And he really feels New Orleans is that team." LINK:http://www.nola.com/saints/t-p/index.ssf?/...0860.xml&coll=

rajncajn
Okay, now the really relevant question: Which LB position is he going to play? MLB from what I've heard Middle is the likely spot, Simoneau was ok there last year but didn't put up much in the way of tackles.

The Irish Doggy
That's a good signing. Smart, great locker room, hard working guy there. If not for injuries, he was the best the Bengals had IMO. Very sorry to see him go.
