And I would argue that Plunkett had one year where he caught lightening in a bottle and never amounted to much after that and Testaverde wasn't that good but had good longevity. Taking Smith, trying to trade up for Quinn and the fact that Boller is Boller and in the last year of his rookie deal tells me he is done after this year.
