I am in a 12-team, performance scoring league - I need to start 2 WRs this week.

Which 2 do I start?

Chad Johnson (CIN) vs CLE

James Jones(GB) vs NYG

Wes Welker (NE) vs SD

Lee Evans(BUF) vs PIT

Also, in same league(with PPR) - which 2 RBs to start?

Laurence Maroney (NE) vs SD

Lamont Jordan (OAK) vs DEN

Brandon Jackson(GB) vs NYG

Jerious Norwood(ATL) vs JAX

Thanks!! I will respond to your posts as well.....

WR - Pick 1 PPR league, 1pt/20yds rec, 6pts/TD

Crayton vs GB

Jones @ NYG

Porter @ DEN

Crayton is where I am leaning

RB - Pick 1 PPR League, 1 pt/20 yds rush and rec, 6pts/TD

Green @ CAR

Bell vs MIN

Jackson @ NYG

Jackson is where I am leaning

TE - Pick 1 PPR League. 1pt/20 yds rec, 6pts/TD

Miller vs BUF

Pollard @ ARI

McMichael vs HOU

Miller is where I am leaning

Flex - Pick 1 PPR league, 1pt/10yds rec or rush, 6pts/TD

Chambers vs DAL

LJ @ CHI

Brown vs DAL

I can't believe I am saying this but Chambers or Brown is where I am leaning instead of LJ

I would go with Crayton this week as he has the best chance of being open in the game. TO will get his double coverage as usual and that will leave many opportunities for Crayton against the already banged up secondary.

Green is the best choice out of those 3 but thats saying alot. All 3 backs arent worth starting spots yet but Green has the bit more upside

McMichael is the best TE out of those 3 definitely. All 3 of them are one week wonders. They wont produe every week like Gonzo or Heap would.

As bad as LJ is, I cant see you benching him for the likes of Chambers and Brown. LJ is a must start every week regardless of opponent. Its only week 2 anyway so why give up on him now? you picked him in the draft didnt you?

Would you start Derrick Ward or Brandon Jackson?

Also, I have the Charger Def/SPT. DO I run with them? My only other option is Detriot vs Minnesota. I know, it's bad. Thanks.

Both backs capable of doing very little but I do like Jacksons upside better as far as receiving yards go. He will get more receiving yards than rushing im sure. Im not sold on Ward yet, especially against the stout GB D.

Charger D all the way. One of the top 3 defenses in the league with Merriman. That will be a defensive battle throughout the whole game.

Need 3 out of 5 receivers: LEE EVANS

JOEY GALLOWAY

VINCENT JACKSON

KEVIN CURTIS

PATRICK CRAYTON also.......... MARCUS POLLARD OR OWEN DANIELS??? thanks

Lee Evans is a must start WR every week. I would also go with Galloway and Crayton this week. Both should have great games against weaker secondaries. I like Owen Daniels slightly more than Pollard. He has more looks than Pollard does nowadays.

What do you think of this trade proposal?

I get Shaun Alexander and Laverneus Coles.

I give up Brian Westbrook and Alge Crumpler.

It's a PPR league (10 yards pp receiving and rushing, bonus at 110 and 125 yards respectively). My current squad:

QB - Kitna, Leinart, Grossman

RB - Westbrook, McGahee, B. Jackson, Betts

WR - Wayne, Roy Williams, Driver, Jennings, B. Marshall, Curtis

TE - Winslow, Crumpler

D - Baltimore

K - Gostowski

Clearly this gives me some absurd depth at WR, which I think I could use to my advantage to pick up Carson Palmer from another person in the league who's got him on the trade block and needs a wideout or two.

Having trouble picking my three receivers. I'm leaning towards the first three but need some advice with two of the three:

Need 3:

M. Harrison @ TENN

Andre Johnson @ CAR

D. Jackson @ STL

Calvin Johnson vs MINN

P. Crayton @ MIA

Thanks

Harrison and A. Johnson without a doubt. Both WRs on top of their game again, or should i say finally for Johnson. I like Crayton this week as he will get open more against the banged up Miami secondary. Minnesota will play hard defensively so Calvin may be covered most of the game. There is too many decent WRs on Detroit at the moment so playing in a 4 WR set would kill any fantasy hope.

How do you feel about these choices?

QB need 1 - Rivers, Alex Smith, Campbell or Garrard

RB need 1 LJ, Potis, Betts, Brandon Jackson

Rec need 2 TJ, Lee Evans, Driver, Chambers, Reggie Brown, Santonio

performance scoring no PPR

2nd team

nedd 1 rec Coles or James Jones

pefromance scroring w/PPR

Thanks!!

QB go with Rivers. Playing a very important game and will be playing his hardest all year. A few hookups with Gates for sure, possibly Tomlinson too.

RB I would say go with LJ because hes a super stud, but the Portis matchup is too attractive monday night in Philly. He will get his share and do more with it then Betts would. LJ will get his carries too but they are playing a tough D and they are going to probably stack up on him since theres no passing game in KC.

You have great depth in WRs so this will be a little difficult for me to choose. If i had to choose one sleeper right now, that would be Santonio Holmes. Start him and Donald Driver against banged up Giants D. The other guys im not sold yet except for lee evans, who should have a good game also.

2nd team start Coles. James Jones is very unproven so far and Coles can get the job done regardless of opponent.

Chad Johnson is a stud, every week, for 17 weeks. Go with Lee Evans as hes another great WR on a good offense this year.

Out of those 4 I like Jackson and Norwood this week.

WDIS Brees or Kitna.

Also, is Jordan a safer bet over the run and shoot. I am thinking McGhee, Colston, Galloway, & Fitz. My other plan is Jordan instead of Colston.

Thoughts? Thanks.

RB's – McGhee, L. Jordan, Cadillac Williams, J. Norwood

WR's - L. Fitzgerald, J. Galloway, M. Colston, James Jones

TE's - R. McMicheal, E. Johnson

K - O. Mare, J. Reed

DST - Steelers, Redskins

Start Roster Requirement

1 QB 2 QB

2 RB 3 RB

2 WR 4 WR

1 TE 2 TE

1 K 2 K

1 DST 2 DST

1 Flex (QB,RB,WR, or TE)

So your basicallly giving up a RB that can both receive and run on a great offense and a decent TE for a 30 year old back on a declining offense and a so so WR. You do the math.

You have plenty of WR depth and two good TE's. Dont do it.

Start any 3, standard scoring format

Marques Colston @ TB

Calvin Johnson Minn

Javon Walker Oak

Santonio Homes Buff

I would go with Santonio Holmes being #1, Javon Walker being #2 and Colston should have a bounce back game. C. Johnson is playing a tough D on a 4 WR set right now. Not a good combo for ff outing.
