skylive5
Andy Williams - Moon River Have to admit.... you really know your Hard Driving Music. Seriously... have some of the stuff you have on your list but other than Beck and Young none are probably gonna make the final cut. My cat does get a bit cranky at music that doesn't quite fit a theme I am playing.

aqualung
Artist: James Gang Song: Funk No. 49 Sleep all day, out all night I know where you're goin' I don't think that's actin' right You don't think it's showin' Jumpin' up, fallin' down Don't misunderstand me You don't think that I know your plan What you try'n'-a hand me? Out all night, sleep all day I know what you're doin' If you're gonna act that way I think there's trouble brewin' or James Gang - Walk Away Lyrics Taking my time, choosin my line, tryin to decide what to do. Looks like my stop, dont want to get off. Got myself hung up on you. Seems to me, you dont want to talk about it. Seems to me, you just turn your pretty head and walk away. Places Ive known, things that I'm growin' don't taste the same without you. I got myself in the worst mess I've been And I find myself starving without you Seems to me talk all night here comes the morning Seems to me you just forget what we said And greet the day Seems to me, you dont want to talk about it. Seems to me, you just turn your pretty head and walk away. I got to cool myself down, stompin around, thinkin' some words I can't name ya. I'll meet you half way, I got nothin' to say, Still I don't s'pose I can blame ya. Seems to me, you dont want to talk about it. Seems to me, you just turn your pretty head and walk away. godtomsatan
Don't have anything by them. Worth picking up? Husker Du had a very oddly produced sound, sort of like a cross between Phil Spector and a metal sheet grinder. But if driving, hardcore, melodic music is the key, hard to think of too many bands of the 1980s that could top their tunes. "I Apologize" and "Celebrated Summer" from _New Day Rising_, "Pink Turns to Blue" from _Zen Arcade_, or "Don't Want to Know if You are Lonely" from _Candy Apple Grey_ would be my personal choices to meet this critieria. skylive5
I know you don't care for Heep but SWEET LORRAINE GYPSY LADY IN BLACK THE MAGICIAN'S BIRTHDAY Even if I was so inclined...there is nary a Heep peep to be found in my house. I don't even know anyone that has any Heep within driving distance. One of these days I will have to list everything I have and see if there is anything anyone likes (or even knows-recognizes). But then again the site may not allow that much space to be used in a post.
