Randall
They keep getting worse and more greedy. They want to charge to fix the antenna that can't pick up HD channels and charge for a defective receiver. I'm paying about triple what I did 2 years ago. Does anyone have contacts that get results or has Rupert Murdoch completely ruined the company?
AtomicCEO
I really wanted to give DTV a chance, but I can't get what I'm getting now for less than $120/mo, not including broadband internet, and the upfront cost would be like $200, including all their rebates and promos. I can't do that.
Pope Flick
Then tell them you're getting the dish and they should come take all of their equipment off of your hands for free, or you'll toss it.
CopeDog
They realize that they are going to be handing out hardware to HD subscribers to support their new channels, so are trying to make as much off the hardware as possible right now. Call them up and ask to speak to retention, or even easier, when you reach the voice prompts, select cancel and that will transfer you to retention. That department will take care of you. CowboysDiehard
They have sole rights to the Ticket--it's a monopoly. Once that changes, we'll see if it gets better
