Gros Membres!
Just got back to back carries in the red zone and squirted through for a TD. My sneaky Thomas Jones play against a terrible Miami D is not boding well so far.
Gros Membres!
This just in - Thomas Jones BLOWS. Don't even think of starting him next week in Cleveland.
TheGrunt
Leon Washington thus far has been a great sleeper for me all year. Granted, my league scoring rules give 1 point per 2 receptions, so this is only a more positive upside for Washington. At least in my league. I'm pretty sure Curtis Martin said this prior to Thomas Jones being traded to the Jets, but Martin mentioned how Washington has shown some very strong indications that he'll be the future back for the Jets. This is something everyone might want to consider during the off-season this year too. However, depending on whether or not other leagues give starting running backs points for kick-off returns and reception points, Washington's value might vary a little depending on your league scoring rules. kc kid
I benched Ryan Grant for Thomas Jones. 140+ yards and 3 scores would have been nice.
Rovers
Washington is a quality spot starter, depending on the opponent and what other Jets players may be out with injuries. I used him as my 3rd RB in one league, I loved the matchup with Cotchery out. That worked out nicely, but as for the rest of that line up....
