AtomicCEO
Someone just told me about this, and my first thought was that it was going to be a horrible piece of unwatchable crap... another recycled TV show, another cartoon shot in live action with superstars and terrible scripting. But, damn if I didn't watch the trailer and say "Oh snap, G". http://speedracerthemovie.warnerbros.com/cmp/main.html This looks pretty sick. The Wachowskis are the guys who did the Matrix, and the visual effects are crazy stylized. I may have to see this. at John Goodman. And yes, it has the monkey. darin3
Snap is right, G. I never got into the cartoon, but that looks pretty wild.

AtomicCEO
I started watching it, and I literally said "Oh snap, G". It was that good.
Vote Quimby2
i was surprised by all the color for a wachowski flick. christina ricci is a good thing. i'm still not going to get my hopes up too much. probably enjoy the movie better that way. btw, saw the Bank Job over the weekend. Good flick.
TDFFFreak
I wasn't a big fan of the original show, but I applaud the filmmakers for the unusual look of the film. I'll see it as I like all the big summer popcorn fare, but that said, it won't surprise me if it sucks. Just a feeling.
SheikYerbuti
Missed opportunity. They should have all the actors quickly open and close their mouths on cue, then overdub the dialogue later.
BeeR
I just hope they get the totally surprised "ohhhhh!" down (that happened about 50 times/show).
