KSUChiefsTarheelFan
So Roy wears a sticker showing support for the J-Hawks. Big deal, right? Today in the UNC newspaper I was brought to the reality of how crazy us Tarheel fans are.
billay
While I can;t say that I know everything there is to know about this story (I have been in mourning and not reading the papers), I have no problem with Roy attending the game and weariong a KU sticker or whatever, but if he did not travel home with the team, and stayed in Texas. I have a problem with that. Come home with your team. What you do after that is your own damn business.
justin
If the coach of my team/college was wearing a logo of, and supporting the team that no less than 48 hours thrashed our championship hopes, I'd be pizzed off and not want to support that coach going forward. If he dissed his players and other coaches and sent them home on their own, he deserves to be fired. Could you ever see Dean Smith doing that? No way. detlef
His son lives in England and flew in for the Final Four. Part of the reason that he stuck around Monday was because his son's flight out was not until Tuesday and he wanted to hang out with him. Seems reasonable enough to me. Guessing that he doesn't get to see much of him considering that he lives out of the country.

I flat out guarantee you that virtually every NCAA Division I head coach, assistant coach, and basketball operations person was in attendance at the game Monday night. Final Four weekend is also the annual meeting of their coaches association.

Roy Williams has a long history with Kansas and Dean Smith/North Carolina. Let it go.
KSUChiefsTarheelFan
Could you ever see Dean Smith doing that? No way. Dean was probably at home in his Carolina Blue house, pulling for the Jayhawks to win the Championship. Remember where he went to school folks...
