SEC=UGA
Stimulus checks give Wal-Mart a hugh boost in sales. Good it is having its intended effect. Now Wal-Mart will not have to close any stores due to low sales volume and can keep people employed. Also, Wal-Mart's suppliers will keep getting orders to fill the depleted Wal-Mart inventory, this supplies manufacturing jobs. HEll if sales are good enough maybe Wal-Mart will decide to continue building new stores in other areas, employing more people, and giving construction companies work and their suppliers work. Finally, what is wrong with giving people some of the money that the government confiscated from their earnings back to them?

(Winner - China) We spend it at Walmart to buy cheap lead ridden goods from China. muck
exactly what crazy interest rate is this that you are talking about? The "close" column is the yield on the 10yr US Treasury bond as of the close of trading on that particular day. So, I guess that 'crazy interest rate" was 3.96% yesterday.
